To reduce waste, we hand dye each one to order, using fibre reactive dyes, which are 95% more ecological than regular dyeing methods, and only works on natural materials such as cotton and not polyester.
It usually takes about two weeks to create orders, you'll get an initial order confirmation, and then a shipping confirmation once we've created, set, packed and posted it.
We set our artwork, so it’s easily washable in the machine, inside-out, at 30° or lower. For Dyed items, please wash them completely separately from any other items for it's first wash, and then with like colours after that. We include a colour catcher in each order, to help with the first wash.
The blank garments we offer are incredibly high quality, made of organic cotton which uses up to 91% less water during production than non-organic.
Our GOTS certified Organic cotton blanks are also PETA-approved and created by FairWear leaders who show advanced performance in ensuring the best working conditions at all levels of garment creation.
If you’d like to send us a garment that you already own, or from another store to be dyed, please follow the garment guide. We can only dye light coloured natural fabrics such as cotton, denim, bamboo, and not synthetic fabrics like polyester or nylon- fabric composition can be found in left hip tags. Sending a garment is a great was to help our lovely planet, and give your item another life!
