Painting Workshop 22/04/17
It's time to paint together again! Hooray! Put Sat 22nd April in to your diary!
What: This is a small event where you will be painting your own WAHP garment with the help of Sarah Caulfield, founder and painter at We Are Hairy People. There is a maximum capacity of just 16 guests.
The day will involve meeting at an art studio in the centre of Bristol between 10.30-11am, watching a demonstration of a garment being painted by Sarah, then painting your own piece, as Sarah goes around the group instructing and helping where necessary. It's a super fun and relaxed event, where you can hang with fellow hairies, chat about your favourite things, eat Kookiecats (who are sponsoring each of you with a delicious gift) and paint a wonderful masterpiece that you can then wear forever and never take off!
We will be aiming to have our garments painted by 3pm, which is when the workshop officially ends. At that point you are free to hang for a while, or leave if you need- Sarah would love to photograph you in your garment, so that she can use them in her blog and social media. The studio will be packed down at about 4.30pm to leave at 5.
To Purchase: You can purchase just a ticket- and bring your own garment(s), OR select a ticket and one garment which I will bring for you on the day. If you select a garment, please let me know what colour you would like, by writing the colour in notes at checkout! The colours of the sweaters & tees are shown in the images. The 3 denim items are only in light blue. Windbreakers come in black and white, leggings come in black, dark grey & light grey. Sometimes colours are out of stock, so please also state a back up option ;p
Blogging: The editorial coordinator at AsosMarketplace will also be blogging at this event- so if you're not keen on being photographed and blogged by the popular brand, then maybe come to the next on or wear a balaclava! HA
Things you will need: Pack lunch & an idea for your garment! You can either bring your own garment to paint, or select one for me to bring for you.
