Refund policy

Only for products labelled ‘eco-printed’ in the product title, we have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return, however we do not cover the costs of returns where we haven’t make a mistake.

Made to order printed & painted items, as well as pre orders, are non returnable unless we have made a mistake.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags.

If your return is accepted, you’ll need to arrange and pay for postage to us.
We can reimburse shipping costs if the return is due to a fault of our own such as a faulty item.

Shipping costs won’t be covered if you’ve ordered the wrong size, or don’t like the item.

Please keep the proof of postage in case the item gets lost. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return question at sarah@wearehairypeople.co.uk.

Please avoid buying multiple sizes or designs to try on, as we’re a very small business, and returns are costly. Please order one piece at a time for trying on, as we make each piece to order, and have to attempt to resell returned items manually, which is often damaging for small businesses.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Items not labelled eco-printed are hand painted or custom printed, so cannot be returned, unless we have made an error. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. The return info is noted on each product page.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges
If you need an exchange for the selected eco- printed items, contact sarah@wearehairypeople.co.uk and we will arrange the replacement one we receive the return.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
